About the Author
Mike Parise has surfed for over 30 years. He traveled and surfed in many continents until he found his heaven, Costa Rica. He first wrote the Guide for himself while gathering information in preparation for his first trip to this wave-packed surfer's dream. He then decided to offer it for sale and it quickly became a surf travel classic. When not working on this labor of love, Mike does real work as an advertising executive in Los Angeles.
